The Highcourt of Karnataka did not settle the issue of Hijab in Udupi because people have gone to Supreme Court to for contesting the order of the Highcourt
The issue of the Hijab is Political as well as Constitutional. supreme court will find the Constitutional aspects of the issue
 
Political Scenario:
 
Hijab is nothing but a practice of Muslim women who cover their heads in public places and so.
as far as Women Covering their heads is concerned it's not related only Muslim Community, in north India Hindu, and Sikh women do cover their heads on all important occasions like Marriage, ceremonies etc
 
Moral Scenario:
 
Tolerance of other faiths and compassion toward fellow beings is an integral part of Indian Culture because Buddha .he gave India the framework within which to shape our exchanges with other fellow human beings.
Constitution of India has adopted that framework for the Governance of India
 
Constitutional Rights in this issue:
 
  • Article 27&28-These articles clearly mention that India has No religion and it's a secular state
  • Article27- No tax can be levied for promoting any particular religion or no public revenue is permitted to spend in favour of any religion
  • Article28-No religion Instructions can be given in any educational institutions wholly maintained by state funds
  • No educational institution recognized by the state can compel anyone to follow any religious activity
  • Article25(2)-this article empowers the state to encourage secularism and regulate the activities
  • Article 15-Prohibits any kind of discrimination on the grounds of religion
Above all freedom of  religion is made the subject of fundamental rights, apart from the reasonable restrictions on the grounds of public order, morality and health
