  • Development of inland waterways and coastal waterways to enhance connectivity between ports, inland areas, and neighboring countries

  • Improvement of navigation channels and dredging operations to facilitate efficient movement of cargo and passenger traffic

  • Promotion of waterways as a sustainable mode of transport and a viable alternative to road and rail

4. Logistics Enhancement:

  • Development of inland waterways, road and rail networks, and multimodal transport hubs to create a seamless and efficient logistics network

  • Integration of port infrastructure with inland transportation networks to reduce transit times and minimize logistics costs

  • Promotion of intermodal freight movement to optimize resource utilization and enhance efficiency

5. Skill Development:

  • Skill development initiatives to train manpower for the maritime sector, including port operations, logistics, and shipbuilding

  • Collaboration with educational institutions and industry partners to develop specialized maritime training programs

  • Certification and upskilling programs to enhance the employability of maritime workers

6. Environmental Protection:

  • Implementation of sustainable development practices to minimize environmental impact and promote eco-friendly port operations
